Skipwells League Rules

Spring 2026

1. Each week someone will play 2 games.
   
   
2. Each team is allowed 2 over the fence home runs per game. If a 3rd is hit that player is out, no runners advance, and NO OFFENSIVE EJECTION.
   
   
3. Each team has the option to designate 1 player to receive a runner from first PRIOR to the games start. All other players are eligible for a runner upon reaching 2nd.
   
   
4. If a player becomes injured during the course of a game a runner from first can be designated for the remainder of that game if needed to continue play. The medical need must be agreed upon by the opposing mgr and league director.
   
   
5. No player may pinch run more than once per inning. The only exception would be if the person that was run for should reach base a second time that inning then the same pinch runner may run again for that player.
   
   
6. Players may only sub for a team once per season and must be agreed to by the opposing mgr and league director.
   
   
7. Players not playing in the current game are not allowed in other team’s dugouts or on the field.
   
   
8. Players must play in 70% of team’s games to be eligible to play in playoffs.
   
   
9. Playoffs are for the top 4 teams. 
   
   
10. If one of the top four teams doesn’t have enough eligible players then next team with enough players will take that spot.
    
    
11. Each team must turn in lineup card before each game with runner from 1st noted.
